Hi! I'm @thehappylock!
I am an illustrator and multi-medium creative currently based in Hong Kong

The artwork celebrates 50 years of Sevens memories — from the white bucket hats handed out in the 70s, to the electric costumes in the crowd, to players leaning over the barricades for selfies.
CARLSBERG
HK7S 50TH ANNIVERSARY
I was invited to contribute creatively to the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong Sevens felt like a real full-circle moment, and in many ways it filled that gap in the most unexpected way — combining my rugby journey with my work as an artist.
It also came with a very tight deadline... I balanced the project alongside my full-time job, parenting, and really, this project helped me decide if it was time to officially hang up the boots; starting a new chapter for me.
I couldn't believe it was EVERYWHERE at Kai Tak stadium as well.
It also nods to the humble beginnings of the tournament at HKFC. My hope is that fans across generations will see the artwork around Hong Kong and find something they recognize from their own HK7s memories.
